The WS40-NOINSTALL is the 2,527 grains/lb capacity water softening system from Hobart with a salt alarm that works with steam equipment and it does not include installation.
This water softening system operates at a 5-gallon regeneration volume and it holds 1 bag of salt. There are 3 AA batteries required for the salt alarm on this water softening system.
Hobart suggests that all plumbing and electrical connections be made by qualified personnel who will follow all of the proper plumbing, sanitary, and safety codes and guidelines.
For the treatment of chlorine and chloramines a CB15K-SYSTEM or CB30K-SYSTEM is required.
