Description

The condenser sensor connection for the Avantco 178HINGCLBR (part of the SCL/ZWT series) is a critical safety link that prevents compressor damage by monitoring high-heat conditions in the refrigeration system.

Features 

• Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC): The sensor accurately translates the metal’s heat into electrical resistance, allowing the controller to detect precise thermal changes.
• Compressor Protection: The primary feature is a “fail-safe” shutdown. If the condenser exceeds a set temperature limit—usually due to a dirty coil—the sensor triggers the controller to shut off the compressor to avoid burnout.
• Long-Reach Lead: The 59-inch (1.5m) cable length is designed to span the distance from the front-mounted display to the rear-mounted mechanical compartment without splicing.
• Durable OEM Insulation: The wire is insulated to withstand the high ambient temperatures found near the compressor and condenser coil in busy commercial kitchens.
• Error Reporting: When the connection is broken or the sensor fails, the unit will display an “E2” or “cht” error code, signaling the need for immediate maintenance
