Available on backorder

Description

The Microswitch / Ice Full Sensor Assembly is an electro-mechanical safety control used in commercial ice machines. It monitors ice levels inside the storage bin to prevent mechanical jams, freeze-ups, and water overflows.

Features

  • Snap-Action Micro Mechanism: Provides crisp, instantaneous contact transfer to prevent electrical arcing and scorching under continuous usage.
  • Low-Torque Actuator Lever: Features an extended stainless steel wire arm or roller leaf lever that triggers with minimal physical pressure from falling ice cubes.
  • Single-Pole Double-Throw (SPDT) Circuitry: Features three processing terminals (COM, NC, NO) to support both open-loop and closed-loop control boards.
  • Moisture-Resistant Sealed Housing: Built with an IP64 or higher sub-miniature casing to prevent condensation, water droplets, and frost from shorting internal contacts.
  • Gold-Plated or Silver Contacts: Engineered with low-resistance alloy plating to reliably handle low-voltage milliamp DC logic signals from modern electronic motherboards.
  • High-Elasticity Spring Return: Internal beryllium-copper leaf springs ensure the paddle snaps back instantly into position the moment ice is cleared.
